Meraki Display on Subscription model

I've seen a post about Meraki Display not being available on the Subscription model from back in Jan 2024. It's still in the same situation at the moment, and I was wondering if anyone at Cisco is actually working on this?

Hey @AlexCoste ,

At this time Meraki Display does not support Subscription Licensing.

Thank you. And do you know if there are plans to change that?

It will be supported at some point, however I don't have a timeline or ETA for this unfortunately.

Any updates I'll be sure to update this (and the previous) thread.

fyi, we have a number of Meraki Display installs on AppleTV's and have an EA subscription

Yes, the Enterprise Agreement does have a SKU for Meraki Display that can be used. Unfortunately, the estate in question is too small for an EA, and the standard Meraki Subscription does not have the Meraki Display as an option (for now).

Following up on this, you're saying there IS an EA SKU for display licenses?  Meraki support and my Cisco rep is telling there isn't one.  We had purchased some before converting and now our televisions won't stay logged into the app because they aren't properly licensed. This seems rather absurd to me that Cisco can't just create a SKU for it or heck....don't charge for the stupid display licenses in the first place. It's a significant lack of feature parity with competitive NVR based systems to not be able to have a camera display without getting some 3rd party RTSP app.
