Wrong time in dashboard log

jagonzalez

Hi everyone 🫡

I've been checking the logs in my organization and noticed that the timestamps are 5 hours ahead of the actual time in México.

image.pngWhen I added the clients, were the 11:30 - 11:40 a. m.

I looked in Organization > Configure for any setting that would let me change the log timezone, but no luck so far.

Has anyone come across this before or knows how to adjust the time shown in the logs?

PS: The time settings on each MX67 are correct — the issue only appears in Organization > Monitor > Change Log.

Thanks a lot for reading!

Hi, PhilipDath.

Do you know if is there any way to change time settings for the organization?

Imagine you have networks all around the world, and you are recording the changes from all of these locations.

There is only one sensible option, to record them in GMT. This is not configurable.

Okay, I'm agree with you, but some sidekicks and I remember that, maybe 8 months ago, the time in log were according the local time in Mx.

Maybe Meraki had an update?

Negative. It has always been in GMT.

Phil is correct.

You might be mixing the Event logs from the devices. Those are in sync with the local time set from the network.

Okay, thanks a lot to both for response my question.

Have a nice day c:
