Umbrella Deployment

Could you please provide support on the following questions: · I have two VAs deployed, both on the same network in a single site. We have a second site so need to know if it is possible to move one of those VAs to the new site. It will be in a different network but both networks (primary and secondary site) can communicate with each other. Is this deployment valid? · Can Umbrella protect Android devices? If so, where can I find documentation about this?

Hi,

If the 2nd site send direct DNS requests directly to the Umbrella cloud (traffic is source from a different NAT IP address to the other site), then each site would require a separate VA, Umbrella recommend allows deploying 2 per site for redundancy.

As long as the Android devices are pointing to the Umbrella VA appliance IP address for DNS resolution that should work fine. The Umbrella Roaming Client only supports Windows and MacOS, so you cannot install the client on Android.
