DNA Spaces REST API - Question

Hi,

In DNA Spaces REST API, there is a GET operation, inside which there are some parameters for which I am searching for interpretation.

Please if you can provide some help about the them it would be highly appreciated.

For GET history/clients what is the meaning of the following parameters:

X --> The x coordinate of the radius center.

Y --> The y coordinate of the radius center.

radius --> The radius, it should go with x and y.

Thanks,

Ariel

Hello  ArielAguirre87126,

I see you're talking about the /history/clients and /history/clients/{deviceId} GET calls. These parameters in the API calls are a way to define a radius to search for within Cisco DNA Spaces: Detect and Locate, returning either MAC addresses for the former and specific client details for the latter. There is more information regarding the GUI version of that to be found here: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/cisco-dna-spaces/detectandlocate/b-cisco-cle/m_clienthistory.html

According to the DNA Spaces: Detect and Locate Configuration Guide, the clients location history APIs are "APIs to get a device's MAC address and the details for a given device." Unfortunately, the current version of that guide doesn't provide much else in regards to the API use.

I hope this helps.
