After reviewing the API documentation, I am a bit surprised that the only way to add a device to PI is through a batch job with the PUT devices/bulkImport device operation. It seems like there would be a simpler method. Granted, I have virtually no admin experience with the PI product so I have minimal perspective. Is this the only way to add a single device, or did I miss something?
