OpenDNS integration is not working as it is supposed to

Meraki was WAN IP Address X.X.X.X

Running update_ip_addr_dns.py from server in internet with IP address A.A.A.A

The script says that the IP address X.X.X.X was succesfully updated to DNS-O-MATIC (which is the expected behavior).

OpenDNS shows the IP updated is A.A.A.A

It looks like OpenDNS takes the source IP of the request and not the IP address in the parameters.

Please help.

Hi Isselin,

The DNS example script uses DNS-O-Matic API, and this script is working as it's designed. I would suggest reaching out to OpenDNS/ Cisco Umbrella support for help on using their API.
