The Delivery Collaboration Portal (DCP) is a system to manage Advanced Services engagements. It allows Cisco employees to collaborate both internally and with their Cisco customers and partners on customer engagements that fit the 'Advanced Services' definition. Examples are Optimize subscription type of engagements, Transactional SOW-based engagements and others.
Such engagements are Project based and each engagement is defined by a Project identifier (PID). As such, all information found in DCP will refer to such PID.
DCP consists of several functional areas :
- Content Management: This is the area where documents pertaining to a customer engagement are uploaded and managed through its life-cycle. This functional area is the only functional area that is both available internally to Cisco employees and Cisco customers and partners.
- Delivery Management: This functional area permits Cisco employees to manage their customer engagement. It provides an overview of their projects, details on the project activities, resource requests/assignments on their projects and the submission and management of Milestone Completion Certificates (MCC's).
- Staffing Management: Cisco staffing personnel use this functional area to staff and manage Advanced Services project delivery teams.
- Market place: Advanced Services employees can navigate and engage on open Project resource requests.
- Time entry: this is the place where Advanced Services personnel book their time to their projects
This user guide will describe in detail all the above functional area's as well as the foundation aspects of DCP.
