Firefox, IE, Chrome all fail to connect - SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

-this is my first time ever in the sandbox, so it is possible I am just not doing something correct?

I made the reservation and unchecked the: "block connections to untrusted servers"and connected through anyconnect

I tried allowing exceptions, but no dice.  Could not get http or https to connect to:

Hello Richard!

Thanks for posting! Could you please clarify your issue a bit? Can you successfully establish a VPN connection using AnyConnect? When you are seeing an error on Firefox, IE, and Chrome what page are you trying to access? A lab server, or the devnetsandbox.cisco.com?

This info will help us get to the bottom of your issue!

Thanks!

Jacob

Jacob, thanks for replying so quickly.  I apologize for not being clear enough.  The answers to your questions I had intended to be in the first post above.

I connected through anyconnect to the Cisco VPN successfully.

The product in the sandbox that I was trying to connect to was ACI Simulator Reservation

hello?  I said I thought your questions had been answered in the original post, but here they are again...

Hello Richard,

I'm testing out the ACI simulator today to see if we can replicate your issue! I will get back with you.

Thanks!
Jacob

Hi Richard,

I have made a reservation and I was able to connect to ACI from the web browser via https://10.10.20.70/ using Google Chrome. It was pretty slow, as it took about 2-3 minutes before the login page loaded, and another minute to load the login page.

Please note that this server will have a self signed certificate and you'll need to "proceed" or add the site as a security exception. Is the page timing out, or throwing a security warning? Something different?

It would be helpful if you provided screenshots of what you're seeing, and as much detail as you can provide.

Thanks!

Jacob

I logged in to the vpn and connected ok.  I could ping 10.10.20.70.  I attempted to https to 10.10.20.70 using chrome and I got the following screen - even after clicking:  "proceed to 10.10.20.70 (unsafe) - it returned me to this screen.

Normally when I select the "proceed..." link that will take me right in. The other thing I'd suggest is adding it as a trusted site in chrome settings. Follow the instructions here: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/BLOivjDTTW0

These seem to be slightly different than the newer versions of chrome. In step 3, You'll find "Change Proxy Settings" actually under System, and the wording is now "Open Proxy Settings." But after that minor change, the process is the change. Make sure you fully restart chrome after applying this setting.

Please let me know if this works out for you!

Thanks!
Jacob
