unable to connect to devnet sandbox

I have tried doing a couple of devnet learning labs. However, in order to complete them, at some point I either have to set up a vpn or just access the sandbox catalogue to reserve a vpn server. neither of which is possible. Each time I access the sandbox and click the 'get started' button, it just goes into a continuous loop which is now becoming so frustrating. Could anyone please advise on how to access the devnet sandbox catalog?

Here works well, do you have a proxy configured in you laptop or desktop?

Thank you for responding. I have no proxy that I am aware of. 

It is definitely a problem with the laptop, i have just mamaged to try it with a different device and could open the catalog. I just cannot see what is stopping me from getting to it. 

Maybe navigator version, java.. cache.. something like it.
