Buenos días,

Quería comentarles sobre un problema que estoy teniendo con la instalación de equipos cisco.

El tema es así:

El proyecto consistía en la conexión de 4 edificios a través de Fibra. El edificio donde se encuentra el Data Center tengo instalado un Asa 5516-x, un Stack de Switch 3750 Catalyst, un WLC 5508, un Switch 3Com. Dentro de ese Edificio se encuentra un Ap Air CAP 1602l-A-k9.

Las direcciones IP utilizadas para este proyecto:

Este proyecto actualmente no está en funcionamiento ya que no hay conectividad lógica entre estos edificios. Lo dejaron funcionando pero por un problema eléctrico hubo que cambiar el ASA. Al conectar todos los equipos nuevamente el WLC no encuentra ningún AP que tenia asociado a él.

La gente que instaló estos equipos no me puede dar soporte, es por ello que acudo a este foro para dar con la solucion a  este problema. Quiero aclarar que soy novato en equipamiento cisco pero tengo ganas de aprender. Espero me puedan dar una mano.

Pablo, si gustas podemos hacer pruebas con el equipo WLC 5508 y el AP que se encuentra conectado en el mismo switch y en un momento más revisamos la conectividad entre edificios.

Hola Daniel, te paso la configuracion del Switch 3750. El AP esta conectado en la interface 13 y el WLC en los puertos 21 y 22.

Disculpa la tardanza pero por cuestiones de trabajo no me permitió seguir con los comentarios.

Tu WLC esta configurado con la dirección IP 172.16.0.2 con VLAN 100 corresponde al Etiquetado Management y ocupas el puerto 21 y 22 para format tu Port-Channel.

Ahora en que puerto esta conectado tu AP, la configuración de dicho puerto debe de ser en modo de acceso y asignado a la VLAN 100.

Otra pregunta más, cual es el modelo exacto de tus AP's?

Y donde están configurados los servicios de DHCP de dichos segmentos

Hola Daniel, no te hagas problema.

El AP está conectado en el puerto 13. "Interface GigabitEthernet2/0/13" pero no se xq ese puerto esta asociado a la Vlan 101, segun la config del SW.

El modelo del AP es el AIR CAP 1602I-A-K9.

A que te referis con los servicios de dhco de dichos segmentos?

Por favor cambia la asignación del puerto de la vlan 101 a la 100, para que tu WLC y tu AP estén el mismo segmento de red (172.16.0.0/25).

Y revisa que la configuración en tu WLC tenga la mascara adecuada de acuerdo al segmento de red. (255.255.255.128)

Supongo que tienes algún servidor DHCP para la administración de tus equipos en este primer punto me refiero a los equipos inalámbricos.

solo se puede acceder por consola? Tenia entendido que no se configuraba el AP. Que una vez asociado captaba la configuracion del WLC.

Como puedo agregar manualmente el ap al WLC?

1.- Para saber la dirección IP del AP, en el equipo donde tengas configurado el DHCP utiliza el comando show arp y busca la dirección MAC address del AP.

2.- Como prueba, agrega el comando spanning-tree portfast en la interface GigabitEthernet2/0/13.

3.- Para agregar de manera manual la dirección del WLC al AP utiliza el siguiente comando: capwap ap controller ip address.

Lo primero que debemos verificar es que tanto el AP como el WLC este en la misma red, ayudarme a revisar el direccionamiento del AP.

el equipo que tengo configurado como dhcp-server es el 3750, pero no me muestra la mac del AP. El que tb tiene una configuracion dhcp es el WLC pero no me muestra ninguna ip.

Intente acceder al ap por medio de consola, y me muestra que el el ap no es administrable asi que el punto de agregar el ap al WLC no lo pude realizar.

el mensaje que me tira es:
