We recently updated our gateway from AsyncOS 14.2.3 to AsyncOS 15.0.3-002 and already ran into some problems during the upgrade process:
After preparing by suspending listeners, emptying the work queue etc., we started the upgrade process via the CLI DOWNLOAD command. As usual, we were provided with a list of upgrades to different versions. We then tried to download different 15.5.x versions but the downloads failed every time (no error message, just getting stuck at different stages). We looked into our firewall settings but it seems like nothing got blocked/throttled there. Finally, we tried Version 15.0.3-002, which we could download without issues.
After finalizing the upgrade, we again checked if we could now upgrade further from the CLI like we had originally planned, but the DOWNLOAD command showed no available upgrades.
Is there an issue with the upgrade paths? From the release notes, it almost looks like our version is a dead end? Recently, AsyncOS 16.0 has shown up as available but we are reluctant to make such a big jump.
