Interface selection for outgoing notifications

Hi

We have several external IP addresses on our IronPorts.
If we send out notifications (by a message filter using notify())
AsyncOS automatically selects the lowest available address.

Can this be influenced in any way?

(setting deliveryconfig to something else than "Auto" doesn't work in our case)

Hi, 

The delivery interface cannot be modified specifically for the notification emails from what I know. 

The interface selection is influenced by the network routes or gateway defined for the destination host.

Turns out you can configure additional IP addresses to have /32 netmask. AsyncOS will use the interface with the real netmask for outgoing mail then.
