Are you attempting installation as a user with Administrator privileges?
If not, that's required for initial installations.

Is there any other anti-virus or anti-malware product currently running on your system?
Have you tried downloading the endpoint connector directly from your cloud console and installing that exe file directly?

I'd recommend opening a TAC case so they can work with you in real time on your endpoint.
