hello
I am wondering where you manage AMP for Endpoints? I've seen a web based console, FMC (FTD?), and ISE. Is there any benefit of using one over the other?
thank you

Hi,
AMP4E will be managed through web based console. AMP4E is available in two type of deployment, cloud based or on premises.
For cloud based model, we just need to buy AMP4E device licenses. Once we do that, we will get access to AMP4E cloud based web console to manage the deployment.
On a high level, from the console we can download the connectors for AMP4E. We can manage all the policies. We can use the console to monitor what is happening with the end points, how many files have been quarantined , what are the PC's have been compromised, vulnerability assessment and lot of other things.
If you have access to cisco dcloud, you can access the instant demo available for AMP4E webconsole:
Further, FMC with FTD and ISE are different products. On FTD, we have a feature called AMP for Networks which can be integrated with AMP4E. AMP4E works on endpoint level where connector will be installed and that connector will be managed through AMP4E Web console. Whereas AMP for Network is a connector resides on the FTD to do inspection of the files that traverse the FTD appliance against known and unknown threats.
