Cisco AMP4E deployment components

Dear Community,

I am thinking of deploying Cisco AMP4E to my endpoint computers. Based on my readings, there are public cloud and non public cloud deployment approaches. My request is to install the antivirus in my endpoints and use the public cloud subscription.

Can you please suggest me the "list of components" I will need to order so I can achieve my end goal of a functional deployment. With the "list of components" I mean the licensing required for three years, connectors, software, subscriptions etc needed to get full functionality of an antivirus on my endpoints.

Tried to type AMP4E in the estimate site of Cisco, but getting lots of complex to understand options which do not note if I need some other licenses to be added or connectors or anything else.

Any suggestion or guide would be highly appreciated.

Thank you,

LTH

Greetings LTH,

Please take a look at the tier comparison for the different levels of AMP for Endpoints available: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/security/amp-for-endpoints/package-comparison.html

If your only requirement is Traditional Signature based AV then any of the tiers above will provide you that including the 'AMP for Endpoints Essentials'. However, moving up in tier provides with more features and access to more tools such as Orbital Advance Search which allow you to remotely query your endpoints for data such as DNS cache, registry setting and more. Out of the box AMP for Endpoints is bundle with our Traditional Signature based AV solution TETRA. To enable this feature all you have to do is verify it within your policy and make sure that it is enabled before installing the connectors. And even with the 'base' level you still get access to all of AMPs other features including Malware Activity Protection,  System Process Protection, Network and File, Exploit Prevention and Behavioral Protection.  Find more information here: Setup Guide - https://www.cisco.com/c/m/en_us/products/security/advanced-malware-protection/setup-guide.html#~your-cisco-endpoint-protection-journey and the Deployment guide - https://docs.amp.cisco.com/en/A4E/AMP%20for%20Endpoints%20Deployment%20Strategy.pdf

As far as the licensing goes I would recommend you reach out to your Cisco Partner or Cisco Sales Representative to get further clarification on those specific needs. Sometimes it can get a bit much when you have many options but your Cisco Partner or Cisco Rep can help answer any questions about cost, licenses and requirements needed.

I hope that help guide you in the right direction!
