Enrolling tablets using Cisco SM

The school has recently purchased Android tablets, and they require Cisco Meraki to be installed. I have attempted to do this, but I have come across two issues:

1) When originally setting this up it would ask for a username and password. after I began the setup, I typed in a Google account name that I had created especially for the tablets, and it accepted the password. However, it would then display a screen that said 'Enrollment, Write System Settings and Package Size Info.' I pressed Enroll, scanned the same barcode, and then it told me I was logged in, but it also showed a message saying the account failed to sign in?

2) After speaking to Meraki, I removed the 'Enrollment Authentication' settings and it appears to have got further, but it's now stuck in a loop saying "Enrolling device"-"This might take a minute, please do not turn off the device".

After looking at other community fourms, I attempted an android upgrade before performing the Meraki installation, but the same thing happened again

These are Lenovo Tab M11, I have read this is a common issue with those tablets?

What have you got configured here:

You need end-user authentication configured.

It would be a good idea for you to open a support case.

I am not a Cisco employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

Thank you,

I have raised a support case and I am waiting for a response. I was wondering if anyone knew any quick fixes

What wireless connection are you using for the enrollment process? Integrated carrier SIM or an available SSID? Have you tried alternate connections, or something confirmed "open" such as a hotspot off another device? I've seen issues with enrollment hanging or failing because it could not reach all required services.

Is there a reason you created a Google account for enrollment? AFW is the most seamless for company-owned devices.

Good afternoon.
I have attempted both.
First I was doing SSID but today I tried using my own wireless on my phone. Both were unsuccessful
I will try AFW tomorrow, I'm only using Google because the school Google accounts are common use, thank you

You need end-user authentication configured.

It is currently 'Google: Sign in with Google' and using the google domain www.crownfieldjunior.co.uk, this has been setup.

Just out of interest, I also disabled this authentication, and this is what caused the second issue, where it started looping between "Enrolling device" and "This might take a minute, please do not turn off the device".

You 100% need this enabled.

Thank you. At the time, this was only a test, and it has now been re-enabled.

Working for a School that mainly uses Google I am attempting to keep this enabled. I have followed a similar process to the below:

Thank you soo much for everyone's help so far, as you can tell I'm not confident with Meraki

Just out of interest, I'm starting from the beginning, please stick with me but, I have not resolved the original issue yet

In an organisation that has multiple staff who use android, what is the best way of enforcing android EMM on all tablets without enforcing it on the staff's personal devices?

If I was using AD I would use groups but Google only allows this for usernames and not devices
