Secure Endpoint Windows connector 8.4.4.30419 Debug mode

Hi there,

Now with this new version, we will have debug logs active after upgrade.

  • "Debug logs are now collected by default when a Windows connector upgrade is started."

Is there any form of disabling this when doing client upgrades?

Thanks in advance.

There is currently no method to disable debug logging during upgrades starting with this latest version. What would be the reason you'd like to disable it?

Thanks,

-Matt

Hi, Why? cause its a waste of megabytes in log files.

Right now in 2 days, 2 logs are 100Mb.

The debug logging should only last until the next heartbeat after the upgrade completes, or ~15 minutes. If you didn't apply a policy change that included debug logging with the upgrade, please open a TAC case so they can investigate why the logs are still in debug.

I'm pretty sure its only for the upgrade process, it doesn't set the whole thing into Debug forever.
