Renewal Cisco CSC SSM licenses

Hi,

I have a Cisco CSC SSM module on my ASA 5510 to filter URL on my network. Licenses expires in December, my reseller said this product is now unsupported (since 1 year) by Cisco and i need to change my firewall.

Is it true ?

I have checked the part number L-ASACSC10-100UP2Y on google and find many reseller who sell them

The grey market / second tier resellers are not always so good at updating their price lists to reflect end of sales of offerings.

If you want to continue to do URL filtering on your firewall then, yes - you need to upgrade to a new platform.

You are running discontinued software on discontinued hardware. After a certain number of years, Cisco no longer supports those combinations.
