UCS X and Hyperflex - simple question?

Hi, been reading but cant seem to get any clarity.
We are currently running UCS and they will be coming near EOL next year so looking new solution.
They are currently connected to and IBM V7000 SAN - all works well

I am missing something or is the best bet to go with UCS X and hyperflex (we will be moving towards a hybrid cloud in next few years but at moment are 90% on prem) as we wil still need about 150TB of storage. I can see lots of stuff around UCS and hyperflex but nothing on UCS X and hyperflex (they have validated designs for UCS X and other storage vendor but none with hyperflex)

Is hyperflex not designed or intended for use with UCS X ? (or is UCS X intended to be used with a thrid party storage vendor for on prem and then cloud??)

Any other suggestions for what configuration to look at appreciated.

It's more about IMM (Intersight management mode) support, which is required for UCS X gear.

I expect you will see IMM support for Hyperflex, but not sure on time table...
