I'm quite comfortable with using the ISE (3.1) API, but I can't get the correct request for collecting device information using it's identity name. I want to make a form in which the helpdesk can fill in a device name (it's identity) and get the switch and port where it's connected to. The port description contains the patch panel number, which we can connect to a room, and the helpdesk knows where devices are.
Somebody that knows what call to make to get this device/port information using it's identity?
