Yes you can. I'm running a local client 5.3.1.317 in my Windows 7 VM machine with no issues. The Vcl50.bpl file should reside in C:\Program Files (x86)\TIDAL\Scheduler\Client folder path. This have few quirks, such as you will lose the maximize/restore down in your windows screen unless you run the Client in "Windows XP compatibilty mode", but that is your choice. This is a known issue and it is listed in the Tidal/Cisco Website. You still can expand your Tidal windows, but it a little hard to find the thin corners.. Hope this help!
