Can Tidal pass a parameter into an SSIS package without using a batch file?

We want to call an SSIS package from Tidal, so we have the coverage/viewability into the job's success/failures.  We have .exe's and others that will accept a variable passed in by Tidal, but we cannot get Tidal to pass directly into a package.  Using Tidal to call a batch file that passes the date parameter just isn't enough coverage, as Tidal will not be able to report on the package, just the batch file.

We are also trying to avoid "hard-coding" the date parameter into the package, because it may change.  Going through the whole release management process to change a config file is very tedious and time consuming.  Being able to change it on the fly through Tidal would be ideal.

Does anyone know how this could be done?

Thanks in advance!
