Java Client and JRE 8

When will the Java client be upgraded to work with JRE 8?

CWA 6.3.1 java client is the version that is compatible with JRE 8.

Same question here. We are building new VM 2012 boxes and wanted to know if JRE 8 will work with 6.2.1.

I tried with java client 6.3 and tried to connect 6.2.1 and not able to do that. 

• it expects the master-ssl.properties in java client installation directory 
• Even if we create it and SSL=N it was not able to authenticate for me
