I have a job event that inserts a job when associated jobs complete abnormally, the first step of the job that is inserted has a 20 wait time, the second step restarts the original failed job id. This process will however rerun everytime the job fails. Is there a way to limit the amount of times the job event can insert a job for this? Hope this makes sense

Hi Thomas,
You can directly associate a job re-run action and specify up to X many times to the completed abnormally job event.

I have a few jobs setup like this already but the rerun occurs one after another without pausing or waiting for say 15 minutes.

I followed a procedure https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/12614411/rerun-job-after-delay I found a document on this forum for setting a delayed job and it works well but will continue to rerun until the job has completed normally. I have a customer who only wants their jobs rerun once so I would like to limit the delayed start job to running once.
