Our NON-PROD environment is currently at 6.2.1.491 version of the masters and CM's. The TESCMDLine version that came with the hotfix is 6.2.1.69. Every time a command is use, for example, "varset", or "alertset", a connection entry is created as an open connection and it will remains visible in the Master Status, Connections tab, after the TESCMDLine is close, whether it is being used by a POWERSHELL command or running the TESCMDLine interactively. Does any one experienced this behavior? Please see attached picture for visual example.

Hello Jorge
This issue is fixed in build 6.2.1.492. I know only one build later. Here is the bug details
CSCuz46006 : Executing SACmd through a script will not close the user session
Problem : Scripts which executes the batch of SACmds creates many user sesssion, but not updating the end time for the user session
Solution : Changed the way of fetching the usersession if it is not available in Data cache, instead made to fetch from master.
I have tested this and it does close usersessions created by sacmd
