Port is err-disable

Hi,

I am currently using a Cisco IE 41010 Switch along with Axiom SFP-3 AX SFP modules.

While I connect a host to the SFP,the port goes into err-disabled state while if I connect the same host through the Cisco 100Base SFP the port is up and running.

Snap of the "show interface" command using the Axiom SFP is as below:

Could you please help me fox this?

Thanks.

gbic-invalid disable <<- disable this and check again

This command must run after you 100% sure that this sfp is compatible with cisco SW.

Thanks for the suggestion @MHM Cisco World ,when I enter the command in the Privileged mode  or config mode there is an error of Unrecogonized command.
Could you please help?

no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid

Thank you for the response.

*(config)#no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid
(config)#service unsupported-transceiver
Warning: When Cisco determines that a fault or defect can be traced to

The good news is that the port is no longer in the err-disabled state but it shows not connected though there is a FO Patch cord connected.

Any light on this?

As I mention before these command help to bypass some check' but still the sfp must compatible with Cisco SW to run fine.

The SFP is compatible with Cisco as per the datasheet of the transceiver
