aaa authentication doubt

Hi all,

We have a line unused in the aaa config:

aaa authentication login default group tacacs+ local

the one used in the vty is:

aaa authentication login Tacacs group tacacs+ local

Does it make sense maintain that line while is not being used? Or maybe it's there for any special purpose?

Hi

There is no need for

aaa authentication login Tacacs group tacacs+ local

Since first command (default)covers VTY.
