ACS 1113 hyperterminal problems

i have a ACS 1113 appliance which i'm trying to hyperterminal to but with no joy

i'm using

115200

No flow control

but i can't get anything from the console

i have tried the same on my backup box but still the same

does anyone know the actual settings

change the console cables. also give the proper console parameter for the console session with the box

i resolved the the problem along the lines of your suggestion

i use both juniper and cisco kit but i had got the db9 plugs mixed up

when i made sure the console cable had a db9 from the acs1113 box it all worked

must have been an issue with pin outs
