I'm upgrading from Windows ACS 3.3.4 to 4.1 then to 4.2. From 3.3 to 4.1 everything is fine, but from 4.1 to 4.2 I loose over 30 user accounts. Is this a known problem?

What kind of users are lost ? Static or dynamic?

All dynamic users were lost. I'm doing this on a test machine and had not added the computer to our domain when doing the upgrade, I'm wondering if that could be the issue. I've just added the test ACS 4.2 to our domain but it still only shows static users. I've compared External user Databases with the test machine ACS 4.2 and our current ACS 3.3 and the only thing that's out of place is a missing user group (Network Admission Control).

If dynamic users are gone then there is no way to put them back. Putting acs back to domain will not get those users back.
These users will be readded the moment they authenticate with that acs.
