Hi all!
I upgraded an ACS4.2 to ACS5.1, and in the ACS View Dashboard „ACS – System Errors” I see the following error message:
Jun 14 15:38:23 petzacs1 CSCOacs_Internal_Operations_Diagnostics 0000001415 1 0 2010-06-14 15:38:23.105 +00:00 0000023886 32603 ERROR Message-Bus: Dropped connection. Reconnecting, ACSVersion=acs-5.1.0.44-B.2347, ConfigVersionId=881,
Jun 14 15:56:23 petzacs1 CSCOacs_Internal_Operations_Diagnostics 0000001416 1 0 2010-06-14 15:56:23.074 +00:00 0000023896 32603 ERROR Message-Bus: Dropped connection. Reconnecting, ACSVersion=acs-5.1.0.44-B.2347, ConfigVersionId=881
Unfortunately I can't find any documentation what describe what ERROR codes mean, so I don't know what does 32603 ERROR code mean.
Please help me, how can I translate this error message.
Regards,
Miki

We have the same problem in our system:
July 6,2010 11:29:12.073 AM | ERROR | Dropped connection. Reconnecting | CSCOacs_Internal_Operations_Diagnostics | 32603 |
Is this error critical? How we can solve this problem?

Hi Marat!
I opened a tac case for this problem, and I got the following answer:
"The messages that you are seeing are normal if seen when ACS is restarting (ie, while restarting the ACS services). The ACS System Threshold may generate frequent alarms stating: 'Message-Bus: Dropping connection'. This is not a serious issue and only indicates that the internal message bus connection is being reestablished under normal conditions."
We turned on some advanced debug, what will be analyzed by the tac engineer when the issue will occure again.

Miki

Hi All,
I am alaso getting same error message.
CSCOacs_internal_Operations_Diagnostic Severity Error
09-22-2010 07:59 AM
I also am experiencing this issue in my environment, and have been told by Cisco tac that this is not a serious issue. It appears to happen within our environment once a week. Keen to hear how to resolve this.

Hi Miki,
patch 3 has the fix for the error "CSCOacs_Internal_Operations_Diagnostics".
Please upgrade and share the results.

I have patch 4 and it's not resolved!

Hi All,
TAC engineer closed my SR. He and the developement engineers said that it isn't a serious symptom, so they will decreas the facility of this error code in the new releases.
I don't think, this is the solution, but we can't do anything.
Thanks for the answers, but patch4 hasn't solved it in deed.
Regards,
Miki

Hello people, we just upgraded to 5-2-0-26-6 and we also get this error!
Tue Aug 16 20:07:24 CEST 2011
CSCOacs_Internal_Operations_Diagnostics
ERROR
Could not start message bus
And then:
Tue Aug 16 20:07:24 CEST 2011
CSCOacs_Internal_Operations_Diagnostics
ERROR
Dropped connection. Reconnecting
If it isn't a serious symptom then why does it show as an Error alarm? Cisco gotta fix this.
