ACS 5.1 problem with the AD integration

first i configure the ACS to Synchronize time from AD as NTP server

second when i configure the integration between the ACS and AD and test the connection there is no output from this test

but i see that the domain is connected and the end of the page

the problem is when i try to navigate the groups by go to directory group and use select there is no output

the problem is when i try to test connection , i didnt recieve any responce

when i save the configuration as it is i see the the status of the AD is connected

then go th select groups from active direcotry i didnt find any thing

I had a similar problem that was due to the fact that ACS uses DNS to resolve a list of domain controllers then starts going down each one. Our problem was we have about a hundred domain controllers almost all of which were behind firewalls so ACS would timeout almost every time (verified with debugs).

We had to use LDAP.

i open a case with Cisco and the answer that is Buge on ACS version i will patch acs with patch 6 and i will try again when i finish i will feed back with the result
