Hi,
I am trying to integrate ACS 5.2 with Active Directory. I keep getting the error "Global Catalog port status error".
- I have ensured that the ACS server is configured with the same NTP server as the AD server
- User credentials might not be the problem because I tried to integrate ACS with AD using the domain administrator's credentials also
Is there something else I should be looking for?

Hi All,
This problem was fixed. We had configured a set of name-servers that did not have records for domain controllers. We used the correct name-servers and ACS joined the domain without any problem.

Hi Suresh,
Is your ACS behind a firewall?
This problem could be a blocked connection.
If your ACS is not behind a firewall, try change your Global Catalog Server. If you have just one GC try install another one and test again.
The ACS use aleatory GC Server, and you can change configuring in your ACS Server another DNS Server.

Evandro
