ACS 5.2 Problems with internal user file update

Hello,

in our acs 5.2 I would like to add a fixed IP for some of the users. So I added an "Assign static IP address" field in the Internal User dictionary:

Cisco Secure ACS - Windows Internet Explorer_2013-01-11_15-34-52.jpg

As I have to add around 300 fixed IP, I tried to import an csv file (see attached my test2.csv file) .

As the user already exist, I use the File operation upload

Cisco Secure ACS -- Webseitendialog_2013-01-11_15-39-10.jpg

In the Log window, no error message appears after import.

Cisco Secure ACS - Windows Internet Explorer_2013-01-11_15-41-52.jpg

But the IP address field is still empty. The funny thing is, if I change an existing IP address from an existing user via update, it works.

Does anybody has an idea, what is wrong?

Thank you and kind regards

What version of 5.2 do you have installed? Do you have any patches?

Looking through the CDETS fixed in patches in ACS 5.2 I see the following which seems close but I do not think that you defined a default value in your case

CSCtj89705: ACS 5 Import of internal user attribute fails for attribute with default

This is fixed in patch 3.

Hi,

thank you. An patch upgrade solved the problem.

Kind regards.

Martin
