Hi All,
Is it possible to encrypt ACS 5.4 backups?
Based on the documentation it seems to be clear-text, so is there is a way to encrypt ACS backups so only the ACS can read and understand them?
I'm asking specifically of ACS performed backup so others will not be able to read/understand the file (except the ACS for restoring).
Thanks in advance..

Hi Alex,
others can not understand the file but they can restore it to any ACS machine (physical or virtual).

In addition to Amjad,
If you want to store the backups, you can use other applications like winrar to set a key and compress them, when you want to take an ACS backup then you can use the same application to decrypt and restore.
This will require some testing just to make sure no assumptions about the winrar works just fine, and it does add some overhead, but that would be one option.
Thanks,
