Hi,

I just tried to upgrade my ACS 3.2 with an evaluation version of ACS 3.3.2.

Everything has happend correctly except that when i try now to create an Activcard Token Server database, i've the following error message:

"An error has occured while processing the External Database Configuration Page because the external database DLL could not be loaded, becuase this DLL is missing or other dependant DLLs could not be located.. "

Indeed, i just look in the ACS installation authenticators direcory and there is no Activcard.dll file.

Has someone experienced the same problem and is there a solution to find just the dll file?

Thanks a lot.

Please confirm if for the new ACS version, the system requirements such as memory have been met and that the recommended OS along with the required patches have been installed.

Yes but We have just the minimum

• Pentium III processor, 550 MHz or faster.

• 256 MB of RAM.

• At least 250 MB of free disk space. If you are running your database on the

same computer, more disk space is required.

• Minimum graphics resolution of 256 colors at 800 x 600 lines.

Thanks

Did you ever recieve any answers on this problem? I am experiencing a similar issue. When attempting to configure the windows external database via External User Databases -> Database Configuration -> Windows Databse -> Configure I recieve the following error message.

External Authentication Configuration Error

Cisco Secure ACS has encountered a problem while attempting to process your request. This is could be due to one of the following:

* An incorrect installation or configuration of the third-party DLLs required to support this External Database

* A corrupt Cisco Secure configuration

Windows Server 2003 Standard SP1

Hi

I remember there was a marketing decision to simply remove several of the external RADIUS authenticators - Activecard being one of them.

The good news is the "Generic RADIUS" authentiator should work just as well.
