Authentication Proxy Over a Tunnel

Hi

Do I have to have CBAC on a Cisco 837 ADSL router running EzVPN remote to get the Authentication Proxy to work? The reason for using the Authentication proxy is that the IOS for the Cisco 837 does not have Individual user Authentication. If so, Can someone point me int he right direction as to how I would configure it?
