Backup Question - ISE

Hi Team,

In the admin guide for GUI backup, the following is an option:

Check the Application-Only Backup, Excludes OS System Data check box to back up only the Cisco ISE application data. Uncheck this check box if you want to include the Cisco ADE operating system data in the backup as well.

Can you confirm what is included in either option? i.e. Application-Only Backup, Excludes OS System Data / Cisco ADE operating system data

This option is only available in old ISE releases and no longer an option when performing a backup. Instead, it's an option for

restore (see

Cisco Identity Services Engine CLI Reference Guide, Release 2.4 - Cisco ISE CLI Commands in EXEC Mode [Cisco Identity S…). When restore ISE configuration to include ade-os from CLI, it will restore it with the same IP addressing, DNS, routing, etc.
