CISCO ISE - SOFTWARE or HARDWARE

HI,

I would like to know some basic information of Cisco ISE.

1) Whether it is software/ Hardware

2) Where it collects the MAC address of end point systems and How we can achieve this.

3) How we can integrate in our network.

I feel better if you share the links for videos/documents of Cisco ISE.

Thanks is Advance.
