Hi,
Radius servers wouln't make any difference in the process. However,
I've looked at Cisco Documents and found 2 different answers.
Cisco 8.0.100.0 Software release notes says, ACS 4.2 is compatible; where as Cisco Wireless software compatibility matrix says, ACS should be atleast on code 5.2 or higher.
From the below AirOS 8.0.100.0 release notes ; Table 6 :Test Bed Configuration for Interoperability
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/release/notes/wlcrn80.html#
From the below Cisco Wireless software compatibility matrix: Table 8 Software Compatibility Matrix
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html

Hi, I would suggest to upgrade ACS 4.2 to 5.x that would be the best option.
To make it compatible!!!!!
As you know ACS 4.x is EOS and EOL.
