Hallo all,
I know that CSACS-1120 5.0 is in End of Support, but I try anyway to ask if it is possibile to obtain, if necessary covering the related expenses, a copy of the Installation CDs or the ISO image of CSACS-1120 V 5.0 (not EVAL).
I obviously already have both working HW appliance and regular License (BASE PERMANENT 500 DEVICES).
Many thanks in advance and best regards

Hi
You can download the 5.x ISO from the following link:
You should be able to download it as long as your CCO account has the contracts associated with the purchase of your existing ACS.
Please keep in mind that 5.0 has many severe vulnerabilities and thus it should not be used.

Hi Neno,
first all thanks for your quick reply, but we tried downloading the ISO and it resulted no longer available, see attached image for details.
According to the message it seems that the problem is due to the unavailability of the ISO and not to consistence of contract, and infact we succeed in downloading newer versions.
I hope that you or someone else can help further, but I know that this is a hard request to accomplish.
P.S. Regarding the vulnerabilities of version 5.0: putting it into production is just the first step of a longer process that will lead also to migrating to actual solutions (i.e. Cisco ISE), but we cannot avoid to succeed in this first step.
Many thanks and best regards
Alessandro

Your best bet at this point is to contact TAC and ask for the ISO. They can publish the ISO for you to download, however, be prepared for your request to be denied since this version has been deferred.

Hi Neno,
we already tried contacting TAC, but it seems like everybody destroied everything regarding 5.0 the day after it went in EOS ....
I hoped to find some guy with original CDs and so kind to share them, but I understand it's a very old version.
Many thanks again and best regards

I think it's like when you find something that you haven't been using for a very very long time, so you decide that there is no reason to keep it longer and two days after having thrown it away you find out that now you need it .....
I think that it would be appropriate to add a new Murphy's law for that ...
Thanks again and bye
