Hello,

since yesterday im getting a Error-Message while Accessing the GUI for our IronPort C170:

Error Response

Error code 500: Server got itself in trouble: The application raised an exception.

Some Information about our System / Cluster

AsyncOS 7.5.2 for IronPort C170 build 014
Welcome to the IronPort C170 Messaging Gateway(tm) Appliance

There are 2 Machines in a Cluster

ClusterName: IronPortCluster

Machine#1- IronPort1

Machine#2- IronPort2

I can connect via SSH or FTP without any Errors. The only Errors i can see in the GUI_LOG are:

Thu Jan 25 09:07:09 2018 Info: req:80.12.211.21 user:- id:- 500 GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1 -
Thu Jan 25 09:07:09 2018 Critical: Error in https connection from host 80.12.211.21 port 50183 - timestamp out of range for platform time_t

Is there any Chance to get more Information about this error in the logs or do you can explain why this error happens?

No Updates or Configurationchanges happend since weeks.

What we've tried already:

- Restart Machines (Hard- and Software Reboot)

- Clear Browser Caches / History etc.

- Tried accessing the gui via Chrome, Firefox, Edge, IE

When i try to connect to the gui over HTTP im Getting the Page for our SpamQuarantaine but cannot access any other sites ...

Looking foreward to get any suggestions

Thanks in advance

run settime MM/DD/YYYY  HH:MM:SS   with YYYY "2017 "

GUI will work

but emails clearly are not delivered for time stamp security reason

If you need to implement some policy by GUI and not by CLI

Solution is upgrade UP to 7.5
