Health check of BYOD solution

Hi All

I am hoping someone is able to help , I need to check over an ISE deployment of 1.2. Patch 7

We have the following setup.

Node 1 Primary admin Secondary Monitoring

Node 2 Secondary admin Primary Monitoring

Node 3 PSN

Node 4 PSN

We lost node 4 and then the Guest BOYD stopped working (failed and needed rebuilding), I was hoping someone would be able to help with my understanding why that was the case. Once the Node 4 was back on-line the BOYD worked as expected.

There are lot of things to check here. Can you answer the following questions:

1. What was the client behavior? Like did you see the client's browser trying to reach the redirect URL? If yes, can you confirm if the FQDN in the URL reflected your Node 3?

2. Do you have both PSN nodes listed as AAA servers on your WLC?

3. Confirm that the deployment is in full sync and all replication is complete
