Hi
I am currently explorining all the exiting features of ISE, and was wondering, if it's possible to use an Authorizations Profile, to configure the switch interface description, so that when you run a "show interface status", i would be able to see either wich authorization rule, or pc hostname (dot1x), is currently configured on that port?
I hope someone can help me

Christian,
I have not had time to test this but potetially you can do this my sending smartport event.
"Auto Smart Port" in authorization results.

But wont that require a custom macro per autorization profile, to be manually configured on every switch?
Or can you make a downloadable macro, like with ACL's?

Correct,
To use macros they need to be cobfigured on every network device where you need them to be applied.
I would use interface templates instead. Macros is actually pushed to the interface config so they are kind of sticky.
Interface template is more tied to the session. Still has to be on the network device.
