How to reset the root password of Cisco ISE

application reset-pass ise admin, Does reset the GUI password

with regard to root password reset , how to reset it ??

Hi, If you can login via the CLI of the ISE node then you can reset the CLI password using the command "password". If you are unable to login then you would have to reboot the ISE node from ISO and following the instructions previously provided.
