Dears,

It is very weird but I have to write in support community for expert suggestion.

when a switch port is in dot1x configuration and when a user login the users are not able to see their home folder in "my computer", as soon as I remove DOT1.X configuration from the port the users can see the home folder in "MY Computer".

the DACL is  permit ip any any and it is downloaded properly which I can see on the switch also I have a firewall in between I have enabled permit ip any any on the access list still the same.

Any hints please

thanks

Hi Jack. I have a couple of questions:

1. How is the supplicant configured? PEAP, EAP-TLS, User/Machine auth, etc? (If you have screenshots that would be even better)

2. Can you post the output from "show authenticaiton session interface interface_name_number"?

3. What are you using for RADIUS server

4. What is the make, model and version of code for the switch

Awaiting experts reply anybody can help me for the strange issue which i am facing above.

thanks

Thank you for the additional information Jack. From what I can tell, everything looks correct. I have seen issues like that in the past but that was only when the customer had used "user" authentication only. However, based on your post, you are using "machine" based authentication.

My only other suggestion is to check your GPO settings and make sure that everything is set correctly.

If GPO looks good then I would suggest opening a case with Cisco TAC.
