Hello,
I am due to run a POC with a customer next week for plain Authentication authorization (no advanced scenarios there).
Customer is not running an 8540 controller with 8.2.100 image on it.
If I look at the matrix the suggested code is 8.1.
I am just wondering if there is any specific reason why I should ask them to downgrade for the tests.
As mentioned it will be only basic AAA, no advanced scenarios

Hi,
The recommended code versions we publish in the compatibility guide are based on a number of items. Mainly, we try to recommend the most stable and reliable code version per platform. If you want to run something other than the recommended version be aware that you may run into issues. In your particular case, you can test it out since it sounds like it will be in a lab environment. If you begin to have problems, downgrade to the recommended version.

-Tim

Even though recommended, It should be fine to use this code
The code tested are for all the features including change of authorization And redirection, roaming etc
The documentation from the wireless tac On what code you should be running across the different feature sets and what's been tested and stable for customers is at the following site
From the identity services engine compatibility matrix we give general recommendation on code but the tac listing is more up-to-date
we try to stay in sync as best as possible
