Hello Experts,
I just recently changed my ISE Admin password, but now I can login to ISE from GUI with the new password, but I cannot login to it through CLI neither using the old/new password. I tried changing again the admin password from GUI mode, but still I cannot login to ISE through CLI.
Any help please .....

The ISE Admin accounts got GUI and CLI are separate accounts. The passwords are synced during initial setup. All other times, it must be done manually.
The only password that can be changed through the GUI is the GUI Admin Password.
Both passwords can be changed in CLI, but with vastly different commands.
To change the CLI Admin password, simply enter the command password
To change the GUI Admin password, the command is application reset-passwd ise admin newpassword
However, in your case, you must boot from the ISE DVD (or iso, if virtual) and choose option 3 or 4 depending on your situation.

Hi,
ISE maintain 2 DB to store user information and in this case we can't use CLI PW in GUI and vice verse.
1-> CLI
2-> GUI
If you forgot the CLI PW then you have to go for reset the CLI PW by booting the ISE and downtime is mandatory for this, Configuration will be intact.
