ISE Config & Backup

Team,

In the admin guide, there is mention of two types of backup:

a.     Configuration data – Contains both application-specific and Cisco ADE operating system configuration data.

b.    Operational Data – Contains monitoring and troubleshooting data –

Can you confirm that Operational Data includes DB events and logs?

Can you also confirm that the CLI command can restore from an external SFTP server (config, database)?

Regards,

Anshul

yes to a & b.

ops backups are what stored in the db. they don't contain regular log files.

restore is the ISE CLI command to restore.
