ISE high CPU usage

I got 2 hardware SNS-3655-K9 with version 2.7 patch8 build up depolyment.

CPU usage on second primary node raised from around 20% to 99% slowly.

and the same time, received alarm as "Active Directory diagnostic tool found issues"

does CPU usage increased relate with AD diagnose tool test?

ISE 2.7 patch 8 is not available for download, so I believe it was redacted due to a critical bug. It would also be around 2 years old by now.

The first thing you should do is install patch 10 which is the latest patch for 2.7. It is also the last patch for that release since 2.7 reached End of Software Maintenance in Sept 2023 and goes End of Support in Sept 2024.

If you still see the issue after installing the patch, you should not waste time and open a TAC case while 2.7 is still supported.

You should also strongly consider upgrading a newer supported version of ISE ASAP.
