Sure - this is very common. Start with Base, get your deployment setup and working. Base licenses are perpetual to there's no term timer counting down on features you may not use right away.

Once you are ready and have the time to add features that come with Plus or Apex you can purchase those licenses.

Hi,
Plus and apex license Shows the usage is 0 , Does it mean this is the current usage or from the beginning there is no usage ?
Let us say ,in the past we have some profiling and posturing applied and currently these devices are not active , What will be the current usage ?
The purpose is I want to take out the plus and apex if it is not used

Thanks

Check your policies. Depending on your version you can also see hit count on policies.

If you are only doing basic authentication (MAB and 802.1x) and no BYOD, profiling, posture assessment, MDM integration etc. then the base licenses may be fine.

I'm not sure what usage display you're talking about. Can you share a screen shot?

Hi,

The usage attached

Thanks

That usage is for during the time periods indicated. It shows you haven't had any sessions use Plus or Apex features.

There may have been in the past - they wouldn't show up.
